GENIUS TOOL STARTER

GENIUS TOOLS Starter manages the configuration of Creo and Windchill operating environments in a graphical user interface.

​

An operating environment can include different languages, plotting environments, installation standards, license and software configurations. Each operating environment can be assigned to user or computer groups according to departmental or site-specific requirements. Leverage Active Directory to control user operating environments.

​

Create as many operating environments as needed, decide how they are structured, and which employees can access them. Existing configurations can be easily copied and modified to your needs.

GENIUS TOOLS Starter synchronizes the settings with all clients taking care of license management, including borrowing licenses for mobile use outside the company network.

GENIUS TOOL MODEL PROCESSOR

GENIUS TOOLS Model Processor can automate time consuming and error-prone manual tasks.

 

Model Processor analyzes, reports and updates Creo Parametric data to align with corporate standards. It is frequently used to clean up and consolidate existing CAD data sets (e.g. company acquisition) or prepare for CAD data management.

GENIUS TOOL PARAMETER

GENIUS TOOLS Parameter extends Creo Parametric with an easy to use interface enabling designers to edit the parameters of parts, assemblies and drawings quickly and accurately according to administratively business defined rules.

Inputs can be standardized to company requirements such as external database values, mandatory fields, intelligent naming rules, cascading parameters, restricted parameters lists, language translation and much more. At the same time, this enforces company CAD standards in an automated manner and smooth downstream processes.

GENIUS TOOL LIBRARY

Efficient CAD libraries are a core element in product development. The faster and easier objects can be found and assembled, the greater the benefit.

 

GENIUS TOOLS Library simplifies finding, managing, copying and inserting Creo objects with context-sensitive functionality based on Creo mode and object type:

 

  • Part, assembly, drawing, sketch

  • UDF (user defined feature)

  • Drawing table, drawing format, drawing symbol, drawing text

GENIUS TOOL QUICK ACCESS

GENIUS TOOLS Quick Access features a powerful ring menu that minimizes mouse paths and inputs, accelerating design workflows for Creo Parametric. It provides the right mapkeys and macros depending on mode and selection, with individual customizations always at your fingertips. Mapkeys can be assigned easily via an editor.

GENIUS TOOL FORMS

GENIUS TOOLS Forms leverages “forms” (i.e. formulas) to manipulate properties and dimensions of Creo Parametric parts and assemblies. Relevant dimensions, parameters, components, variant table values and mapkeys are displayed clearly and can be quickly modified.

 

Use forms to call up different variants of a model or to configure frequently used start objects.

GENIUS TOOL UDF FORMS

With GENIUS TOOLS UDF Forms you can create UDF groups in models and manipulate individual properties later.

 

GENIUS TOOLS UDF Forms is also used to place UDFs with GENIUS TOOLS Library. UDF forms can be copied into models, ensuring that UDF groups with associated dialogs can also be edited in foreign Creo environments. Several identical and different UDFs can be installed in models. Each one can use different UDF form dialogs.

GENIUS TOOL DIMENSION

GENIUS TOOLS Dimension enables simultaneous editing of multiple dimension names and values, filterable by dimension type and tolerance.

  • Display dimensions with following properties:

  • Dimension type (linear, angle, diameter, radius),

  • Dimension name,

  • Dimension value,

  • Tolerance type,

  • Dimension status (in relations, family tables,...);

  • Filter displayed dimensions by name, dimension type and tolerance type,

  • Dynamic search for dimensions,

  • Highlighting dimensions in the graphics window when selecting a value in the GENIUS TOOLS Dimension window,

  • Easy renaming of dimensions,

  • Assigning new dimension values (including mathematical expressions),

  • Quickly display the original Creo dialog “Dimension properties”,

  • Quick call-up of the relations dialog (for relation driven dimensions),

  • Quickly assign dimensions to family tables.

GENIUS TOOLS MATERIAL

GENIUS TOOLS Material allows the selection and assignment of a material file to a model based on any of the material properties found in Creo’s material library.

  • Selection of materials based on any property

  • Any adjustment and localization of the material data display in the editor

  • Active check for assigned material

​

Material Browser enables you to quickly find and edit parameters that were not maintained in all materials.

Material Browser supports the  display, comparison and editing of material properties in material files.
